[edit] Target of sakols
Sakols is a Ubuntu on a Pandaboard in a nice case used for all day services with your fingers.
It will be very modular so you can add and remove components as you like. Typical usage will be as Multimedia Home Server NAS and radioclock or as home automation system, fallback 3g router and asterisk server. Depending which plugins you want to use.
A apt source will be released when the base system is ready for apha testing.
The base system will inlcude a windowmanager useable for fingers and all drivers to use the features of the pandaboard. The system will have an uniform ui.

- LCD with 7 inches cheap and available one with resistive touch
- case ( GRP ) pattern and HowTo will be available after prototype

Image with Ubuntu and sakols basesystem will be published with first alpha. Modules will be available via an apt archive server.
Source will be commit to svn. SVN service will start as soon as the hardware is ready.

Modules should be in a debian archive minimum conatin list of dependig packages, sample configuration and a xml file for the webinterface, the touchinterface and the api.
Sample Module will be available with the first alpha of the base system.

You should be able to control your sakols via webinterface, touchinterface on the screen or via an api through e.g. smartphone applications.
